HOW-TO Measure In, Out, And Around

You want to find the inside measurement of something, say its diameter and depth. how?

diameter.
start with a telescoping gage.

lock the gage using the screw head at the end of the handle.
use a micrometer to read the measurement.
depth.
your caliper analog or digital should have a slider at the end.

this is one of its uses.
