For those of you looking to purchase a standard G4003 12×36lathe from Grizzly, you may be wondering about its accuracy from the factory.

Tailstock Spindle Alignment Horizontal 0.01
Tailstock Spindle Alignment Vertical 0.021
Tailstock Taper Alignment Horizontal -0.01
Tailstock Taper Alignment Vertical 0.02
Vertical Aligment of Head and Tail Centers 0.05
Face Plate Runout 0.02 (on diameter) 0.05 (on face at normally diameter)
Chuck Runout 0.05 (face and periphery) 0.05 (face of steps) 0.06 (bar test 75mm from end of jaw bar diameter same as hole)
